Upcycling fun:

I like to play around with upcycling materials whenever I can.  I harvest hardware from old purses that are past their prime.  And I love working with denim.

Kim's Recycled Dress Shirt Owl - Hooty

Picture
This little owl pillow I made for my sister Kim out of a dress shirt and tshirts from her son who turned 18 last year.

Kiss my bunny bottom

Picture
This is made from a recycled Happy Bunny tshirt that I found at Goodwill for .10.  My mom loved it and wanted a bag made from it.  She said she is finally old enough that she can tell people to kiss her bunny bottom!

I made this tote bag for my United Way campaign co-worker Marlene who celebrated her 12th year as a United Way Campaign Chairperson.  Congrats!

My Colorado Traveling Bag

Picture
I made this bag for my whirlwind trip to Colorado from upcycled jeans, a man's tie and dress shirt, and  recycled purse hardware.  It worked out great.  It holds a ton of stuff and I just threw it under my seat on the plane.  Love it!
